Kirrama
Wildlife Tours
Owner/operators, Klaus and Brenda Uhlenhut have offered fully accommodated birdwatching tours in Northern Australia since 1988. Although specialising in Cape York and the Cairns region, at least once every year we visit the Gulf and Mount Isa region, the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Most tours are small (6 - 8 max.), personalised and packed with wealth of knowledge and experience of the birds and other wildlife. On all tours we concentrate on the endemic and specials birds of each region. Please look at our tour itineraries on our web page. http://www.kirrama.com.au
Birdwatching
Aficionados - Jonny
Schoenjahn All tours are accommodated in personally selected, quality accommodation. The exception being tours such as through the Great Sandy Desert in search of the rare Princess Parrot, where we will camp. My vehicle is a very comfortable, spacy and well equipped Toyota Landcruiser 4WD. With most tours you have the option to 'fly and drive', the choice is yours.
The areas I visit include: I conduct special trips into the remote Outback, particularly the many deserts, or criss-cross through Australia in search of the ten endemic Grasswren species. If there are particular birds you want to see just let me know. I would be pleased to work out a unique tour for you. 1 Elimatta Way

Alan has been
leading bird groups and individuals around Australia and the region
for over 30 years now. His experience in planning and organising
trips, finding the birds and other critters is well grounded. Alan
has led well over 100 trips all around this land. He founded the now
famous deep water pelagics off Wollongong and Sydney and has been on
at least 800 pelagic excursions - enough to not bother with
medication! From a birding perspective he has found a number of
firsts for the region too and has seen over 732 birds in Australia
alone.
Alan leads many trips of shorter duration too ranging from half days to 4 weeks plus. Whatever your length he will endeavour to work out a trip so that client wishes are fulfilled.

INALA
NATURE TOURS The itineraries are designed by the owner of the company, Dr. Tonia Cochran, who is a qualified biologist and birder with many years of field experience as a guide and tour leader throughout Australia. Tonia draws on her wide-ranging academic and teaching background, her knowledge of Australian fauna and flora and field experience as a guide and tour leader to design tours to maximise visitors' birding and wildlife experiences in Australia. Tours are led by local guides with local knowledge in each area wherever but Tonia also leads Australia-wide tours. Some of our local guides only work for Inala but we have also developed a wide network of reliable tour guides of an excellent standard throughout Australia with whom we work on a regular basis. These guides are chosen for their depth of knowledge of natural history (particularly birds, wildlife and flora) and where to find species for clients, and their capacity to make their tours interesting and enjoyable for their guests.
